Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
i lodged a police complaint in 2009 and police completed fir,investgation and the case is pending.Meanwhile the accused filed a counter complaint and the police rejected as false and there after he filed a private petion with the Majistrate in 2011 but the precharge evidence is not yet begun.Can i pray to the court to dismis the private case on the plea of delay?

Dear client if charges is yet not framed then u can move discharge application in same court. Otherwise u to file quash petition in high court. For any legal help call me
