Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Hi, I m a second wife in a manslife ( my Husband),but he got divorced from the first wife after getting married to me.So is my marriage legal or illegal as per law,& what are the formalities of court if i want to go for divorce? Please suggest

u can fle divorce by disclosing the facts of earlier divorce.but for filing divorce at least one year marriage is req.
Depends what all you are seeking from this divorce / separation.
Since your marriage was initially void in law, you do not need any divorce for separation. However, if you want to claim any money for maintenance / alimony / support, etc., your claim with status of a 'wife' may still be maintainable.
You may also be entitled to compensation / reliefs under the Domestic Violence Laws.
