Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

My nephew is a drug and alcohol addict for long years. He is creating every nuisance possible, including abusing, shouting in the midnight, threatening to physically assult etc. etc. GDs with the local Police were lodged. The Police did came and tried to set right the issue by counselling with the addict and his mother. But with no results. The last GD with the Police has not been attended to by them. Kindly advise how the settle and punish that culprit through filing criminal case.

We are living in our paternal property along with my wife and two widows of my late brothers.

We are Senior Citizens and physically partially handicapped.

Sir, first of all, please understand that the gentleman is NOT a criminal. Like you, he is also a partially handicapped person. Since you possess a sound mind though partially handicapped body, you can deal with the situation better because this gentleman does not possess a fully sound mind. He is mentally handicapped. All the so called nuisances he is creating are not by him voluntarily but out of mental sickness. All his mistakes / wrongs are involuntary. Please treat this person like any other sick person.
