Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
How do I get papers from court?
I plead no contest to a misdemeanor case and my lawyer got a deal - all charges would be dropped in 2 years.
It's been 2 years now. How do I get the court paper saying - "charges dropped" .
I don't live in California anymore. Can I get a friend of mine to get the papers.
Does it involve a lot of work or do I just ask a clerk at the court?
