Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Somebody has possessed my Dad's cheque and filed a cheque case for Rs.4 lakhs which was given to somebody else before 10 years. Can my Dad or myself file a criminal case against the person who illegally and fraudulently possessed the cheque and filed a case, as he is not known to my Dad nor me? How to punish the both fraud people in the court of law Or please advice as to how to fight the case in the court. I�m looking forward to your advice.

Yes the complaint of fraud and forgery can be filed against both the persons who misused the cheque.
