Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pakistan

what is the procedure of getting arrest warrant for the accused from court. if police is not arresting the accused and bringing them to court and rather wasting time, can we request court to issue an arrest warrant instead of direction of arrest

Dear, it depends on the case whether it is cognizable one or non-cognizable. private person can only press upon the police authorities through a petition for the direction to police for the arrest of accused and private person can not ask arrest warrants to the court. if a person is dissatisfied with the proceedings by the police he/she can file private/criminal complaint before the Magistrate.
