Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Respected Sir/ Mam ,
I am 25 yrs of age. I wish to marry a guy, age :-26 yrs . We both belong to different cities & we come from different socio-economic status .
I, come from a family of educated upper middle class family, meanwhile my partner is from a middle class family.
We both are educated enough to make our own livelihood.
My parents our opposing this alliance for the reason mentioned above , whereas we are supported by the family of my partner .
I , am being harrased, Tortuored , Mentally & Physically by the members of my family . They even forcefully withheld my all the original as well as xerox of the necessary documents , to be able for me to register for a court marriage.
Kindly Suggest some remedy as to what could be done legally , as i am willing to marry my partner as as soon as possible
, also file a case against against my family for the miseries they have rewarded me with.
I will be highly obliged .
Thanking You ,
Dr. Preeti Saini

you need to be sure of the person you are going to marry as going against your family for an unworthy person may make you repent later. in this situation, as you both are major, you can go for court marriage by duplicate copies of your identity documents and age proof.
