Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Sir i am caught by polic in nagpure 2012 under DUI convection they charged me under section 185 MVA and I payed fine of 2000 in court. Is this criminal case can affect my carrier in government sector and police verification. I am preparing for MPSC exam in Maharashtra ?and should I mentioned this in my MPSC profile?what to do plz help me?

1) Driving Under Influence and payment of fine need not be shown.
2) In a landmark order that will impact the more than 1.50 lakh DUI (driving under influence) cases pending in courts across Maharashtra, the Bombay high court has ruled that drunken driving is a non-cognizable offence.
