Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hi sir ..
my father and may be 300 innocent arrested in a public rally (village not mentioned ).the main reason was in that day one person killed and his dead body throughed by his family (victims family) that time. the city changed to religions protest ..that time arrested 300 innocent people and sent them to jail .my father was in jail 17 days and police charged may be 7 or 8 sections on my father and an others..the main reason of that dead body come to truth after some week ..after 17 days my father and other people relised ..so now we want to make India passport to my father ..but main problem is that case..when my father inquired in police station they are said "your lawyer not applied charge sheet" so give me any solution to make passport to my father ..

Not clear. Discuss with ur lawyer only as under what charges he was charge-sheeted etc needed.
