Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
sir , a FIR ARE filled by cbi against me and the RC No is only one but after file a case in patiala house court they split the case into seven cases. Now trail court patiala house court found guilt in all the seven cases and the judge given the sentence 4years in each case. the total sentence is now 28 years. sir i want to know that the judge can do so by giving sentence separately in all the seven cases however the FIR AND RC no is only one?. however the under section 420/477a/201 the maximum imprisonment is about 7 years. Sir, please suggest me what should i do regarding that i have already filled a appeal in highcourt.

It has to be seen whether an FIR can be split into seven. I would like to go through the orders fir and your appeal for undstanding it better.
Thanks and Regards
