Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hello sir,

My father has been booked under a case,we are expecting bail in two days. Even police know this fact. They openly asked us 5 lakhs rupees to give bribe, So that they will not book any other cases. They are telling if you get bail also we will not release if you wont give money. We don't have that much money to give them. Please help me sir.

Once the bial is granted police has no authority to keep your father inside. For thr moment you may discuss the facts with a local lawyer for appropriate production.
