Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Someone told me if i invest amount in his property firm he will give me 20%profit of his business and when I want my money back he will returned. I agreed with his proposal and I invest some amount in his property firm through an agreement in the presence of witnesses but from last eight months he doesn't give anything in name of profit and when I told him for my invested money he told me give in two months but after two months when I meet him he gave me signed cheque and told me when I submit this cheque in my bank I will get my money but cheque will return with drawers signature remark so suggest me Wat can I do now
