Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
While waiting for traffic signal to go green, I had put my bike in neutral gear. As soon as the signal turned green and before i could move, a car hit me from behind. The cars bumper got some scrath and the drivers started asking me for money for repairs. As he was the one who hit and i was not moving when my bike was hit, I refused to pay. He threatend me and told me he will file a complaint. Now can you tell me if he has grounds to file a complaint and if he does file a complaint. How will I know that he has filed complaint against me.

1) Has he lodged immediately FIR with Police. If yes, Police will call u.
2) The evidences at the scene of offence, how he hit ur bike from behind etc.
