Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

My wife has filed cases under 498a. We moved to Allahabad high court under sec 482. We have changed many lawyers but no one helped us. So my father thought of fighting case of his own.

My question is casn My father appear in person on behalf of rest of family and fight the case. Is there any judgement relevant to it where one member of family has fought the case for rest of the memebrs or a accused has fought on behalf of rest of case.

Is there any provision under Sec 302(2) Cr. P.c

You do not need any judgement. Any person, with a power of attorney from others, can appear in court on their behalf.

you all have to file case jointly but only your father can appear and fight your case. There are number of expert advocates why you dont have faith on them.

Good luck
