Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I am was working with dept of post india .. A disciplinay proceeding as well as a criminal proceeding was initiated against me for the charge of embezzlement. In the departmental inquiry, i was found guilty and punished as dismissal from servive. But criminal proceeding is still pending in the court.. I want to confirm whether my dismissal from service has an adverse impact on the criminal proceeding or court has its own different procedure not relying upon the departmental inquiry... Kindly let me know if there is any law or provision under which i can move an application in the concerned court taking plea that department has already punished me so now criminal case may be closed. There are three accused in the case and i have been made prime offender. Kindly help me.....

Criminal case would go on. However the trial of such a case is not prejudiced by and findings of any equiry. You may also drop a detailed query at [email protected]
