Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I am working as Vice Principal in one of the school in Thane dist of Maharashtra, India. one of the teacher raised allegation against me on behalf of some other teacher, which are base less without proof. Most of teachers left the institution on their own (Resigned). This teacher wrote E-mail to everyone including Government officials, political parties, friends including Ministers. He used my name and try to spoil by career and harm my future life. Is it possible to file defamation case against the person, if so where I have to file the case?

If the contents of emails are defamatory, you may file a defamation case.
Courts in whose jurisdictions email or any of email containing defamatory imputations are published will have jurisdiction for defamation case.
