Legal Question in Discrimination Law in United States
So my name is Liza and I work at Pacsun, I wasn't on the schedule all week but I texted my manager and asked for sure if I was working on Saturday, he didn't reply so I called in to the store and asked my assistant manager and she said I wasn't on the schedule so the next day (Saturday) I wake up and get a call from my manager (Scott) telling me I was working the morning shift, since I heard I wasn't working i slept in and missed me morning shift. When I woke up my manager called and told me that I might as well put in my two weeks because it was a no call no show. I have never been late before and have never not shown up. But the same thing happened with another male Employee that works at Pacsun and my manager didn't do anything about it. So does this count as gender discrimination? Is he allowed to suggest that I put in my two for something that I did that wasn't entirely my fault?

This is not gender discrimination based on the facts as you have described them.
