What are the future consequences of spending a day in judicial custody? I was held drinking and driving and considering the reading on the instrument was very very low i was sentenced to 2 days of imprisonment and Rs 2000/- fine. Will this affect my visa for other countries? I am not on bail. I have been released in just 1 day.

you have been convicted for the offence after having pleaded guilty. You may have to mention this in your visa form describe the offence maybe they will take a lenient view.
