In 2010 February we adopted a girl child. i.e on fostercare we brought her home and the same day petition was filed for adoption according to Hindu law. After 3 years we still have not received decree in this case. Because of this we do not have her birth cerificate and been difficult to get school admission. Please help if any one of you have suggestions.

In accordance with the directions of the Honourable Supreme Court of India in the case of L.K.Pandey vs Union of India (WP No 1171 of 1982), the competent Court shall dispose off the case within a maximum period of 2 months from the date of filing.

Your matter ought to have been disposed off by now. Seems either your lawyer is lethargic or something is drastically wrong with your petition.
Either appoint another lawyer, or follow up with him on day to day basis, to get it disposed off faster.
