Legal Question in Family Law in India

1. Got married in 2011 and registered under Hindu Marriage. Now husband has changed name in gazette. Should I request for a re-registration or what is the procedure.

2. I have a 14 year old son born out of first marriage. Divorced in the year 2010 but no judgement given on child custody. Mutual divorce was filed with a petition stating the ex-husband would not claim custody (both parties signed mutually). Son is living with me and my current husband. Can my second husband adopt my son legally?

Re registration is not required. Yes, he can adopt by executing a deed of adoption.
