i am 25 old , i got married when i was 12 years old , now we both want to be separate ,can anyone please guide me what i have to do where should i file the case , is it possible to file case in another district court but with in state? and how much time it will take for final separation ? please guide me.

Dear Client,

You can file a Petition for Divorce at place(s)

where both of you are staying.

Take the help of an Advocate who is usually appeaing in the Family Court. Since both the husband and wife is not interested in saving the relationship you can file a joint petiion of divorce. But if the wife agree for a divorce by mutual consent then willloose her right for claiming maintainence. It will take 6 to 7 months tocomplete the procedure.
