Legal Question in Family Law in India

1 month back we got a call from my brothers wife and asking to compromise.They said that they will compromise on all the cases(498A,406).We also agreed to withdraw a case filed by my brother.We also agreed to pay 1.5 lakhs and give her house hould articles.

But

She recebtly filed a case in family court 6 months back asking Justice for 3 terms and she written all the false things in that petition against my brother.I will just highlight the 3 key points in that petition.

a)20 Lakhs money.

b)Divorce.

c)Other benefits if any.

We asked her to withdraw case mentioned above because she mentioned all the fake things but

She is saying that "I filed that case many days back and if we compromise all the cases here then we can get divorce in 1 week.So I won't withdraw my case."

We are fearing that after compromising if she didn't withdraw case and again ask us for additional money for divorce there will be a huge problem.They are trying all ways to convince us so hard extremely to withdraw all cases.But we are not agreeing to her.Can we trust her and compromise all cases here and can we get divorce as she says in that family court ? Is this fair ? Can we trust her ? Is there any fraud in this ? We are getting doubt that after compromising here she will ask additional money is there any possibilities for that ? Why she is not withdrawing the case ? What's the benefit she is getting there ?

Sir/Madam Can you please explain me clearly.

Ask your lawyer, he will arrange everything and you need not to worry at.

or bring all your documents to me, rest I will manage everything and both of your families will be happy by the resolution given by me and your brother will get divorce peacefully.
