Legal Question in Family Law in Pakistan

On 4th day of marriage, girl departed home happily with her mother & brother. She took away all jewelry, valuable clothes & cash awards. Girl was in menstrual periods and no union took place in those three nights. Next day, mother of the girl grinded lame excuse that bridegroom is mentally ill and therefore girl cannot live with him. In fact her statement was a pack of lie. There is absolutely no valid reason behind her stance as my friend is physically and mentally cent percent fit. Six months have passed but girl is still reluctant to come back. Now she has started demanding khulla. Bridegroom has tried his best but unwilling to set the girl free. He considered it as a case of fraud and dishonesty. I seek you kind opinion as to what course of action bridegroom may take against fraudsters. Thanks..
