Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am 29year old woman married since 8 months.marriage not registered until now due to many reasons.arranged marriage,there are certificates from the auditorium and the temple.marriage not consummated till now..i want to get divorce..should i get it registered before i can apply for a divorce?is the marriage void because it is not consummated?should i wait until 1 year to apply?

Dear client to ask divorce or to get marriage null and void registration of marriage is not necessary. Yr marriage photos will establish yr marriage in court. For case for annulment of marriage on the ground of non consumption. For any legal help call me
