Legal Question in Family Law in India
After 10 years of marriage my husband wants a divorce and refuses to give me proper reasons. We do not have children. I had gone through fertility treatment that ended in a miscarriage. While I am ready to try for children he does not want to accompany me to any doctor. Since the last one year he has stopped communicating though we live under the same roof and he just wants a divorce. He sent me to my parents' place on the pretext of taking a vacation and has refused to take me in again stating that he fears for his and his family's safety. I do not understand this behavior and for some reason his family seems to support his decision. Is not having a baby, reason enough for a man to divorce his wife? What are my rights?
