Legal Question in Family Law in India

After 6 years my X-inlaws & X-husband asking for intrim custody.
Halo Sir/ Madam,
I am divorced and single child mother, staying with my parents me and my child.... I am working in small Pvt Organization looking after all my child needs her education, her food , her needs everything I am taking care.
Before getting divorce also I was taking care of her needs & my needs myself. So far as a father he had not done anything to her. After getting divorce also he had not done anything to her till now he and his parents had not taken any responsibility to my child. Since my child is born. My x-husband & x-in-laws have not taken care of my child needful till now. Now they have approached to family court and they are asking for in trim child custody.
Sir, My daughter she is now 10 years old. She is very happy with me. My question is after 6 years they are asking for in trim custody. Where were they before 6 years? And now why they are asking. My daughter is she growing in well manner with my parents, we are giving her good life she is very happy in that. Sir please I request you to suggest me how to avoid this intrim custody.
Or please suggest me what to do��

dont worry, your child can put her evidence before court and ask the court that she wants to live with you only.
