Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi, we adopted a baby form missonaries of charity, ranchi. legal registration is completed. we applied for birth certificate at municipality and they asked for a NOC from court. we are staying at bangalore now. My question is, can I apply to any court for the NOC or I have to apply to Ranchi court only?
