Legal Question in Family Law in India
I am from Agra and married to a boy from Mathura in 2015. It was an arranged marriage. But from the very first day of marriage our relationship was abusive as boy told me that he was not ready for marriage and did it in pressure of his family. Also family did not take any responsibility. They always taunted me about my family and dowry. I realized that they agreed for marriage because of money. I tried for settlements and adjustments again and again as my family didn't want me to get seperated because of society. Whole family tortured me in every ways physically and mentally. And never gave me single penny for my maintenance . I talked for mutual divorce but they are denying to give me anything like my streedhan, maintenance and my jewellery and money which my parents gave during marriage. Please advise what cases I can file against them and I am confused because I don't have any proof against them but I want justice for me as I have suffered a lot.
