what alimony can I get from my husband in case of divorce when I am working and earning around Rs.48000/- p.m. and my husband admits to be earning Rs.37,000/- p.m. I am living in a rented accommodation with my son and paying Rs.16000/- p.m. My husband has his own house (265 sq. m. floor) which he constructed after our marriage (married in Jan.1999) in 2002 along with his two brothers and took a combined loan of Rs.1500000/- and is paying Rs.6000/- pm. towards EMI. It will continue till 2016. I need a place to live but my husband does not want to either let me live in his house nor want to share the rent. Pl. help me.

Because your husband purchased this house after your marriage hence you have right over the house, so you should approach the court and get your right on house.

Further you can file maintenance for your child also.
