hi all
my name is Santosh Gupta.I've married dec.2010 with Reena Agrahari.my father sad expired after 3 month of my marrige
after that my wife demands me to split me with my family.
when I refuse it she said to me that she will die and aresst me and my family.
one day she abused me many time, I became angry and slap her then she went for suiside. she put a kane of carrosine and try to burn herself.
then I slap her again for this.after that she called her brothers,brother in law,sister and relatives.they beated us and abused also.
after that they had gone with my wife.
at this time i decided to divorce, when I said to them they filld a case of domestic violence sec. 12 and sec. 498a in district court varanasi.
yet my wife used to say that she will do it if I'll not leave my family
dear freinds plzz help me to save from this proablem.

Dear Mr. Gupta: You have not properly cared for your wife and rather committed 'physical' , 'emotional' and 'psychological'. Your facts do not mention about 'economic' violence which may also be there, if you have not provided sufficient support to her.
You may possibly avoid criminal prosecution and a jail term if you decide to repent and seek her forgiveness. As a goodwill gesture, you should first return her 'istridhan' and start giving her sufficient amount of money for maintenance.
if she is not willing to reside with u, then u can file divorce on ground of cruelty
