Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi, I have applied for a divorce & also have a child who is 2.5yrs age. My husband is not ready to take care of the child & also not ready to give any compensation to her. He says he has no funds. His father has property & has 2 sons & a daughter (including my husband). Now can we claim for my daughters share on that property as a compensation?

your daughter has a right by birth in the ancestral property but she cannot claim a share in the self acquired property of father.
