asalam o alaikum sir 7 months se me apni ami k ghar hu coz mere husband lalchi aur abusive type hein mujhe mental torture krte the ab 3 months pehle hmari beti ki custody ka case kia he js ka last order 24th ko hoga is se pehle judge ne kaha he behter hai ap log apni bradri me hi husband wife settlement kr lo warna court apna order de gi mujhe puchhna hai aya judge ko ye authirity hai k wo custody k case me husbad wife ki settlement k lye unko kahe aur 24th ko kis cheez ka order de gi court?custody ka ya settlement ka ?aya bache ki maintainance k lye khud court bound kre gi court ya mujhe alag se case file krwana hoga?

Dear,court can ask parties to settle their family issues privately,but if parties could not resolve their issues amicably then court will proceed as directed by law.
in your case court will decide the matter of custody on the adjourned date. you have to file separate suit for maintenance allowances for your minor child if you had not filed before.
you can also file a suit for your maintenance if you have not been divorced.
