i asked many times but i am not able to understand.my sis got love marriage in court in last may.my sis didnt tell us.boy called on my no.and my mom no.and used abusive and threaten to me and mom.i got married in november.now my sis and mom live at home.everytime i think about my mom and sis.the boy lives in our street chase in market.my sister wants divorce bot he doesnt give and used false alligation on my sis in area n also defamed us.our lawyer says wait upto one year.plz advice.

There is no need to wait for a year. In exceptional circumstances, the petition may be admitted and attend by the court. I have to see whether your facts suits this criteria or not. Your sister should file a divorce petition on the ground of cruelty as the acts of her husband does amount to cruelty. You can also get maintenance in the same petition.

Yes after an year of marriage you can file divorce petition.

you may file case immediately, in such circumstances, court may permit you to proceed for divorce. Even you can file police complaint also for harassing and mental torture.
