Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh

Hi, I am a Bangladeshi citizen, currently working abroad. I live with my 2 year old baby boy and husband. There had been a series of issues with my husband which often led to physical abuse. I do not want to bear this any more for my baby and am thinking of filing for divorce and also full-custody of my baby boy. What are my options? Would I need to go back to Bangladesh to file for both? How long each(divorce and custody)would take? He would make it very difficult to let me leave the house with my baby surely, so I would need some advice on that too. I hardly have anyone here. When do I leave the house with my baby? After I file for the divorce and custody? Please advise.
