If a boy and girl who going to get married are of different religion and for the kids they want to put the religion on legal document the one which the girl is following and what she has on all legal papers, is this possible? what all needs to be done for this . Though, children carry the father's title in India and by implication in your case the religion of your child would be of father's. But, you may give them your religion by executing an affidavit with the consent of your husband. There is no specified law on this, but there could be a way. Contact for detail.
