My brother is in the middle of a Divorce case. She tried to harm him in 2011 when she was living with him. After an unsuccessful attempt, she left him. Now, she is trying to get a court order to live with him and his daughter. he is scared to live with her because he lives alone.
He lives in our parents' home. He inherits one-fifth part of the house.
Can he sell his share of the house to someone who already owns the part of the house in the middle of the case? Please advise.

In case your brother is staying away from her since 2011, there are bleak chances that she will get the residence orders. As far as his undivided share is concerned, he can relinquish the same after partition. However, your situation requires immediate legal action so that his estranged wife does not further damage him.
