Legal Question in Family Law in Bangladesh
The Canadian provincial government asked me to provide details about the child guardianship from Bangladesh. So what's the requirements of Bangladesh for child adoption/ guardianship procedure? The issue arises in Muslim family.

At first, notice that child adoption and guardianship are not the same things. Bangladeshi law does not support adoption. But any Bangladeshi national may be appointed as guardian of a child by the order of a competent court.
If you want to be a guardian, you need file a suit to the competent court who will give a patient hearing to the person who is maintaining the child now. The court will also hear you, and then if it is satisfied you may get your desired order. If you want to know more please call us.
