Legal Question in Family Law in India

So here is the case, my friend (male) married in Dec-2014, after marriage within two months he revealed that his wife she was already married to someone in 2011 and still she is in relationship with the guy.

As a proof he found here pictures from first marriage, she is living with the guy as a husband wife wearing mangalsutra n all. Girl�s family was aware of her first marriage still they cheated and married again with my friend.

Now, earlier they were ready for mutual divorce and to pay marriage expenses but now they are troubling for divorce and asking for maintenance money.

Here guy is suffering for no reason without any fault, and girls family asking for money in spite of cheating.

Now the que is can my friend file case cheating case against her and her family ?

How to get divorce smoothly and also want to recover marriage expenses ?

Please guide us !!
