Legal Question in Family Law in India

Me (Christian) & my husband (Muslim) had a registered marriage done under ICMA in 2006, and later in 2008 got a church marriage done but did not register the same. Early 2015 my husband filed for a divorce in the gulf under shariah law, which was granted on the 2006 ICMA marriage certificate. Now he wants to remarry. Is it possible for him to register the church wedding without informing about the divorce? If so what are the consequences of this? Plz advise.
