Dear Sir,
your question is not clear, however, we presume that you are seeking divorce (as a Lebanese married in Cyprus) and would like to know accordingly who will have the guardian ship and the custody of the kids.
If our presumption is right, please be informed as follows:
1- The Lebanese courts will have jurisdiction to rule on the divorce case and the guardian ship and custody of the kids.
2- Guardian ship (الحضانة) means who will keep the kids: it may be one of the parents, or a third party (grand father/mother). The Court will look at the benefit of the kids and decide. It might be split between the parents or given to one with the right of the second party to visit and accompany the kids from time to time. All depends from the circumstances of the case, and weather there is a mutual agreement on the divorce or not.
3- Custody (الوصاية) means who will decide on their education: which school to go? etc. here also, the Court will decide based on the facts of the case and according to the benefits of the kids.
