Legal Question in Family Law in India
Can I claim jewellery given by my mother in law n sister in law after marriage to wear in function. I have photos where I was wearing the same with my husband.
As the jewellery was belongs to my MIL n SIL I don't have documentary proff or no one was present when she gave it to me but have photos.
Also can I claim the medical expenses spend during my pregnancy n delivery. Please note my husband desserted me during my pregnancy

All the jewellery and gifts received by bride at marriage or after marriage constitute her stridhan over which she has absolute control. Therefore, you can claim that for sure. Medical expanses is hard to claim but it can be recovered in the form of maintenance.
