My cousin filed for divorce on grounds of adultery against his wife one year back. At first his wife was reluctant to divorce him. later she agreed to divorce fearing that her adultery will be proved and on condition of giving her some amount. When they both approached court recently with an agreement with certain conditions, the court said it is not proper to take divorce on mutual consent in a divorce case. The court asked the parties to file a case for mutual consent and then take divorce after 6 months.is there any other way to take divorce legally earlier than 6 months.
