Legal Question in Family Law in India
My daughter and son in law who are residing in the same building separately owned by her father in law had come out due to the torture from the step mother of the boy an FIL had joined her.
When both boy and girl went back to their house to get some clothes etc., they found some CCTV Cameras installed near her house entrance gate, parking and staircase facing towards her house. Can the inlaws do such thing even though the house is owned by the FIL? Can my daughter still go and stay in the house in ground floor and also put cameras for her safety also?

Dear client they can install cctv as house belong to fil. Yr daughter has to file domestic violence case to get residential order with protection to stay there. For any legal help call me on 9422611385

They may install CCTV in their house but it should not affect the privacy of your daughter who is having a right to reside in the matrimonial home under the domestic violence Act even when she is living separately away from her husband.
