Legal Question in Family Law in India

Dear friends ,

I wish to adopt my daughter's son of 8 years age.I have no sons and she is my

only child.Our grandson has been living with us right from his birth and my

daughter who is working away from home will be too happy to give her child

for adoption. May I know the procedure and authority who to be approached

in India.

there are certain conditions in HAM Act, 1956 which need to be followed for a valid adoption, as per your query and given facts prima faci it seems that you can adopt that child, you ll have to create a document(on stamp paper) of adoption in which father of the child will give the child in adoption to you, you can get the document of adoption registered also. for further assistance anytime contact at :
