Just because you feel that lawyer is not taking interest in your case is not professional misconduct. If he is deliberately not appearing in courts despite repeated adjournments due Ro his non appearance, may amount to same. However, it is advisable to change the lawyer instead of concentrating your energies towards other side. Suspicion is not considered a proof.

Don't divert your energy, just ask him to return your money back and engage any other lawyer.

otherwise any complaint without proof will not give you any fruit and moreover if you failed then he will file case of defamation against you. on the other hand you will also loose your main case.

Take the brief case papers back from him, engage another lawyer, and concentrate on that work.

If you still wish to purse the matter, you may file a complaint, against him with the Bar Counsel, but you shall need more to support other then your suspicion.
