i am getting divorce from my husband and my son is 1 year old and he is with my husband and i am at my parents home . i dont want to marry again. according to pakistani law how long could i keep my son and by which act?

If you do not have the wish to get married again then the better way is to file a suit for maintainace against the husband and get the maintainance from him through the court and enjoy on his money living apart. Also file a case for the custody of child, you are entitled for that for 7 years under the guardian and wards act. For more you can consult me at [email protected]
