Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi, i got divorced in 2010 May in a court in Coimbatore. My lawyer there did not give me the copy of the divorce deed. i too ignored it as i had no intentions of getting remarried, (i know that was foolish of me) but now i am planning on getting married. how do i get the deed. can i approach the court? i do not have the number or other details, i can give the date and the names will that suffice? pls advise.
