Legal Question in Family Law in India

This is dobut regarding our ancestral property ,my father amd his brother partitioned ancesyral property in2006 ,my father not get any share but I got some property,remaining property is registered to my father's brother by my grand father my father and me. My father not get any thing.I am from AP, I am only daughter of my father,can I or my father can sue on my father's brother to get share.What is the limitation for ancestral property ?Can registered suied?
