I want to know what help we may get on domestic violence case. Does the justice really done for the victim?
My mother was facing physical, mental torture from my father from many years, but she never put any case thinking of her two daughters studies and future. He is in relation with other women which is even accepted and cooperated by her son and husband.He is in relation with from past 5years and not even bothering about household maintenance, my sister's marriage and mothers health.
He is simply saying that he doesn't want us and even if we put domestic violence case and claim maintenance we don't get anything wth his bigshot influence.
He is a government employee atleast can we claim half of his retirement money from his higher officials? Which will be helpful for my sister's marriage and for my mother's maintenance.
My father is doing alk the debts on the name of the house which we are staying ( own house) and not paying anything to them just leaving everything on us by showing house saying that he cannot pay the loans and u ppl can tk our house throwing my wife and daughter out of the house.
Please tell us what kind of cases we can file and what kind of justice will be done to us.

You will surely get justice, i.e residence, maintenance, compensation. Now if someone is eyeing your residential accommodation, then you must tell everyone about the pending case. Place a notice board on the facade of the building about the pending case or cases. He needs treatment, both Psychological as well as Psychiatric. You must ask the court to consider sending him to a correction home. In case of any worse circumstances then you must approach the police station u/s 323/325 in case he hurts any of you.
