Legal Question in Family Law in

Under duress I signed a clause in my mutual divorce agreement many years ago regarding the giving of my house to my son at my death. Can I change this clause now as I may need to sell the house, having no job and being alone? My ex refuses to agree.

Many thanks!

it would depend upon the terms of settlement in totality. Selling it now would amount to contempt of court. It would be advisable to apply it before the court to permission to sell the house in the changed circumstances
